Who we are

Ovation Playlists is a playlist promotion service for independent artists. We connect your music with the curators behind the playlists people actually listen to, and we handle everything in between: finding the right playlists, pitching your song, and reporting back on exactly where it landed.

What we do

We are the link between artists and playlist curators.

Most artists have no realistic way to reach the people running the playlists in their genre. Most curators have no good way to sift through the flood of submissions landing in their inbox. We sit in the middle and do that work properly, so your song reaches someone who might genuinely want to play it instead of disappearing into a pile.

We don't buy streams, we don't use bots, and we don't forward your song to playlists we've never checked ourselves. Every placement comes from our own network of curators, which means we know who runs each playlist and we've looked at its numbers with our own eyes.

Who we built this for

Ovation is built for independent artists who are serious about their music but don't have a label's promotion budget behind them. No genre restrictions, no minimum follower count, no gatekeeping.

The one requirement is that your song is already released on Spotify. Our song search runs on the Spotify catalogue, so we can't build a campaign around an unreleased track.

What a campaign looks like

The whole process is designed so you can hand it off and get back to making music:

1. You build your campaign in the campaign builder (opens in a new tab): add your songs, pick a package, and pay.
2. We assign you a dedicated campaign manager who knows your genre.
3. Your manager pitches your songs to curators whose playlists match your sound.
4. Placements start appearing in your dashboard as they're confirmed. A campaign typically runs for around four weeks.
5. You follow it all from your artist dashboard: status, playlists, follower counts, and a full timeline.

You'll never have to chase us for an update. Everything we do on your campaign shows up in your dashboard as it happens.

What we promise, and what we don't

We promise real playlists with real listeners, matched to your actual sound, and a campaign manager you can reach directly at any point.

We don't promise a specific number of streams, and we're upfront about why. The follower reach attached to each package is the combined follower count of the playlists we aim to place your song on, not a guaranteed play count. What happens after your song is on a playlist depends on listeners, and nobody who tells you otherwise is being honest with you.

What we can guarantee is the placement itself. If our campaign managers can't secure placements that fit your style and meet your package's target, you get a full refund. No questions asked. We'd rather hand your money back than put your song somewhere it doesn't belong.
