How refunds work

If we can't place your music the way your package promises, you get your money back. Here's how that works.
When you get a refund
Your campaign manager pitches each song to playlists that fit its style. If they can't secure placements that meet your package's follower reach for a song, that song is refunded in full. We do this on our side, so you don't need to ask for it.
Once your songs are on the playlists, the placement has been delivered and can't be refunded, even if the number of streams is lower than you hoped. Follower reach is the size of the playlists your song is placed on, not a promise of streams.
If you think you should get a refund, contact your campaign manager through Campaign Support on your campaign page, or email connect@ovationplaylists.com (opens in a new tab).
One song or the whole campaign
Each song in a campaign is handled on its own. If one song can't be placed, only that song is refunded, and the other songs in your campaign continue as planned. If none of them can be placed, the whole campaign is refunded and its status changes to "Cancelled."
How much you get back
You get back what you paid for the song. If your campaign had a volume discount, that's the discounted price shown next to the song, not the full package price. For example, in a campaign with two Premium songs at €39.99 and €31.99, a refund for the second song is €31.99.
When the money arrives
The refund goes back to the payment method you used at checkout. We send it as soon as we decide on it, and you get an email that confirms the song and the amount. It usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Where you see it
On your campaign page, a refunded song is greyed out, with its price crossed out and a "Refunded" label. The total at the bottom changes to the net total, which is what you paid minus the refund. If the whole campaign is refunded, its timeline ends with "Cancelled."
A campaign with one refunded song
Your invoice lists the refund as its own line, with the new total below it. On your Invoices page, the number of refunded songs is shown next to each campaign.

Refunds and subscriptions
If every song in a campaign is refunded, any subscription on that campaign ends at once, and you won't be charged for it again.
If only some songs are refunded, the subscription keeps running for the songs that are left. Its monthly price doesn't change by itself. If you have a question about it, contact your campaign manager through Campaign Support.
